SportsFest 2017 - 23 September 2017

The Central Coast Council is putting on an inaugural SportsFest, at the EDSAAC sports precinct at Bateau Bay.  It's designed as an opportunity for residents of the Central Coast to get active, and find out about or have-a-go at a range of sports, including orienteering.  We are participating on Saturday, 23 September.  You can come along and try a relatively easy introductory orienteering course, and we have also set one which is a little more challenging.  You will find us at the southern edge of the northern EDSACC oval, not far from the NW corner of the croquet club compound.

Information about SportsFest can be found on this Council web-site page, or here on Facebook.  We look forward to seeing a few new faces.

Summer Series starting soon

Our Summer Series for the 2017/2018 season will again be a 10 event series, and gets under way at Avoca Beach on 5 November.

Welcome to NSW Central Coast Orienteering

Go to the Events page for up-to-date detail on when and where to find our events that are coming up.

We cater for, and welcome, beginners at all our events.  Somebody will be on hand to give you a few pointers and get you started.  No special equipment needed; just clothing suitable for walking or jogging.  You can take part individually, or in small groups.  So just turn up at an event and give orienteering a go.

The main events in our calendar are a series of Sunday morning 45 minute score events held through the summer months,

Later on in the summer, we have the unique O'Shea Two Days pairs event in early March.

Look under the Events tab for details of our forthcoming programme; and under the Results tab for scores and reports on recent events.

Non-members and beginners are welcome at all our events.  If you are not a member of our club, but are interested in orienteering on the Central Coast, you may like to send us an email at the address on our contacts page.  Then we'll try and keep in touch by sending you an occasional email to let you know what's happening.
